The Finke Desert Race is steeped in Australian motorsport folklore and Hype Republic joined forces with Ford Racing to document the team’s second consecutive class victory with the Ford Ranger Raptor, driven by Brad Lovell (USA). Working in the harsh heat and dust, our small team captured every pivotal moment of testing, the prologue and the gruelling two-day race. From the air, on the ground & in-car, all of the the exclusive & heart stopping action was then edited on-the-run and delivered to worldwide media from deep in the Australian outback via Starlink. The final result was an in-depth documentary delivered before the dust had settled, showcasing the team’s victory at one of the world’s toughest off-road races.
