Hype Republic has a longstanding relationship with Australian metalcore band Parkway Drive. Frontman Winston McCall came to us with a concept to help reimagine death as a unifying force that connects all paths, and we pulled in multi-ARIA Award winning director James Chappell to help make it possible. We spent two days shooting inside a Brisbane warehouse with a diverse team of actors, then road-tripped across NSW to hunt out and shoot in cotton fields, sand dunes, forests and rugged coastal areas. To create the final touch to this otherworldly video, we added an imposing monolith using VFX.
